Hamlin-Lincoln County Public Library, Hamlin, hours are as follows: Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm; Tuesday 8am-8pm; Saturday 9am-2pm. Adult Literacy Classes: Hamlin 6:30-8:30pm Mondays; Branchland 9am-noon Wednesdays. If you're studying for GED or brushing up on math, reading or writing skills, these classes will help you. Pre-school story hour Mondays 10am; Adult Literacy Studies Mondays 6:30-8:30pm; Craft Class Fridays 9am. Other news - Imagination Library forms are available at all three libraries to fill out for children ages birth to 5 years. This exciting program registers children and sends them a free book every month in the mail until their fifth birthday! This is an idea that was started by Dolly Parton in Tennessee, and Lincoln County is the second county in West Virginia to have it. Ask for the forms at the front desk. Laptops are available a the library for patron use. They're Internet accessible and are to be utilized within the library. Inquire at the front desk if you're interested in using these laptops. They were made available to our library through a grant from The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation. Adult literacy/GED classes meet at the following locations and times: Monday 6:30-8:30pm @ Hamlin Library; Tuesday 9am-noon @ Harts Head Start; Wednesday 9am-noon @ Alum Creek Library; Wednesday 9am-noon @ Branchland Library.
